Our story began on 20^th May 1987 where we owned a small shop at Bedok, east of Singapore, selling manually marinated and skewered satay. With years of hard work, we have expanded our factories and is now a major manufacturer in Singapore, including a spin-off subsidiary, City Foods Industries Pte Ltd, that makes Halal Certified products.

Over the years, City Satay has evolved its product and production processes to better suit the customer’s need. Inspired by the country’s multicultural spirit, our satay is made with a unique blend of Asian spices. The freshly made marinade flavours and tenderizes the meat, which are skewered on bamboo skewers and then grilled to perfection. Our signature Satay Sauce is made with roasted groundnuts, spices and our traditional shrimp paste (belacan). Painstakingly stirred in woks throughout the cooking process, the sauce packs a bursting aroma and a fragrant spicy flavour.
