Searched everywhere and can't find the Vitamax Pumpkin Cereal that my parents like. Finally found it here and quickly placed order! This is my first time purchasing from Singapore Food United. In fact, I had not heard of them before but they carry the things that I urgently need. Don’t worry, these are not drugs but high protein bread flour that I need for sourdough bread. The customer service is excellent. They were able to refer me to the right page for ease of my purchase & recommend the various types of flour. As they knew my sourdough starter needs to be fed, they specially arranged for an earlier delivery (my sourdough starter thank you for the food). Delivery charges are very reasonable as compared to other portals but they do have a min order quantity. See the bags of flours that I got!! When I purchased the flour, there were free gifts too which was super good choc thins biscuits! There were also credit card promo available which makes it a really good deal. Overall it was a very good customer experience.As for the quality of flour, I am still feeding my sourdough starter. But I think my starter is trying to get use to the new diet. It was previously fed with American flour and now trying to get used to japanese flour. My first bread will be ready tomorrow. Can only tell tmr.Update: I have switched to another flour type Orange Par in SFU…excellent to feed sourdough starter and to bake a sourdough.
I bake a lot at home, and enjoy using good quality ingredients for my baking. I found out about Singapore Food United (SFU) from their website, and browsed through their bread flour offerings. They had a great selection of flours that I was keen on trying. Being a first-timer, I messaged them with queries on their offers, delivery and promotions. Their response was very prompt and helpful.
